I was hesitant to purchase this reel because I wasn't sure if it was going to be worth the money. However, I decided to treat myself figuring I only had $10 to lose. I am soooo glad I did. All of the views on the reel are fun and interesting to see and he did a nice job on the included pamphlet. It's a wonderful addition to my meager VM collection and I will be proud to show it off.If you are interested in VM even just a little bit, do yourself a favor and buy all three reels. These amazing 3D images, along with the well-written pamphlet insert, start you off on an amazing virtual tour of the Mother Road. The images harken back to the heyday of both the road and the viewmaster travel reel and yet these are modern images showing both sides of the highway today vibrant and alive/derelict and bypassed. Fans of roadside America, Chicago, and Route 66 will be well-pleased by this amazing collection of images.
This is the latest viewmaster reel. Not the reels from 1970s...the image are excellent...the only problem is. I owe a HUGO DE WIJS VIEWMASTER with 8.2 magnification..image had some grains. Not a problem with regular viewer
